Popular blogger, Linda Ikeji disclosed rat terrorised her while living at Surulere and she had to make a decision of relocating to Banana Island.
She made this known at her first bloggers’ summit in Ghana, after she was asked when she realised how rich she was.
She said, “for those who know me very well, I used to live in a rented house in Surulere, there was this day I was blogging from home and there were two rats that kept disturbing me climbing my legs and i will stand up run out of the room and come back.”

“After they chased me out of my sitting room one day, I said to myself, ‘I’m too rich to be sharing space with rats, goddammit!’.”
“Two months later, I was living in a fresh, brand new home in Banana Island, Ikoyi,” she said.
Ikeji also enlightened some of those present at the bloggers’ summit on her journey through blogging.
In a post on her Instagram handle, she wrote “There’s nothing like teaching people what you know and impacting lives.”
Ikeji started blogging in 2006 and became an active blogger in 2007 using a blogger sub-domain lindaikeji.blogspot.com and later obtained her domain www.lindaikejisblog.com.
In 2016, on her blog, she announced the creation her online TV network, Linda Ikeji TV alongside other brands she was establishing.
