PSC Appoints New Commissioners Of Police For Abia, Lagos, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom
This decision follows recent promotions of senior police officers, which created vacancies in these key positions, according to a statement from PSC’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani.

- Isah Danladi Nda for Abia State, succeeding Kenechukwu Onwuemelie.
- Olarewaju Ishola Olawale for Lagos State, replacing Adegoke Fayoade.
- Anthonia Adaku Uche Anya for Ebonyi State, taking over from Augustina Ogbodo.
- Miller Gajere Dantawaye for Akwa Ibom State, stepping in for Waheed Ayilara.
DIG Hashimu Argungu, Chairman of the PSC, stressed the importance of these appointments, urging the new commissioners to make a significant positive impact on security in their states.

He emphasized that these roles should be viewed as a call to serve the nation with renewed commitment and dedication.
The appointments have been signed by Chief Onyemuche Nnamani, Secretary to the Commission, and are set to be forwarded to the Inspector General of Police for implementation.
“He said their appointments should be seen as a call to greater dedication to the service of their fatherland.
“The approval of the postings signed by the Secretary to the Commission Chief Onyemuche Nnamani has been conveyed to the Inspector General of Police for implementation.”
