Job Description

The company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Script Copywriter to develop engaging, high-quality scripts that resonate with their audience and support their brand objectives. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough industry research, craft compelling narratives, and ensure all content aligns with their brand guidelines and tone.

Key Responsibilities

• Research industry trends, audience preferences, and relevant keywords to generate compelling content ideas.
• Develop engaging scripts for advertisements, social media, video content, blogs, emails, and newsletters.
• Ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency in messaging across all content formats.
• Optimize content for SEO, incorporating relevant keywords and meta descriptions.
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, and multimedia teams to create visually appealing and interactive content.
• Edit and proofread scripts to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and adherence to brand voice.
• Stay updated on content marketing trends, storytelling techniques, and emerging digital media strategies.
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and refine strategies for better engagement.
• Manage content calendars and production workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct interviews with industry experts to enhance content quality.
• Adapt content for different platforms and audience segments.
• Engage with audiences by responding to feedback, comments, and inquiries.
• Continuously refine content strategies based on performance insights and audience engagement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and grammatically sound copy.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Medium.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Creative storytelling abilities with a flair for engaging narratives.
• Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and fact-checking skills.
• Excellent research skills to simplify complex information into accessible content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Salary

• N100,000 monthly
