Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw by the Jordan national football team in an international friendly played in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday night.
The encounter, held at the Mardan Sports Complex, marked the end of Nigeria’s March international fixtures and delivered an entertaining contest between both sides, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Jordan opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Mousa Tamari, who converted from a well-executed set-piece to give his side the lead.

Nigeria thought they had equalised moments later when Raphael Onyedika finished off a pass from Moses Simon, but the goal was disallowed.
The Super Eagles eventually found their rhythm in the 30th minute, with Simon marking his 97th appearance by scoring after Ademola Lookman saw his initial attempt blocked.
Nigeria took the lead just before halftime when Bright Osayi-Samuel delivered a precise cross that was controlled and converted by debutant Emmanuel Fernandez, making it 2-1 at the break.

The second half saw increased intensity, with goalkeeper Francis Uzoho forced off due to injury and replaced by Adebayo Adeleye.
