President Bola Tinubu has reiterated that effective leadership must directly address the everyday needs of Nigerians, stressing that governance should be felt most strongly at the grassroots where citizens experience its impact.

The president who was represented at the event by the National Coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Michael Enwere.

Speaking on behalf of the President, Enwere explained that the Renewed Hope Agenda places strong emphasis on youth inclusion and community-focused policies, noting that governance should translate into tangible support for schools, families, and vulnerable groups.
He described the outreach as a practical response to the economic pressures facing many households.
According to him, the initiative goes beyond the sharing of food items, as it seeks to address food insecurity, restore dignity, and strengthen communal bonds, especially among women, children, the elderly, and other at-risk groups.
He added that such interventions reflect leadership that is present, attentive, and committed to inclusive development.
Enwere further stated that while the programme may not solve all societal challenges, it sends a clear signal that the current administration remains engaged with the people.

He reaffirmed SERHA’s resolve to continue mobilising support for the President, insisting that the group is determined to sustain its advocacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking at the event, the Abia State Coordinator of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda, Hon. Amb. Hillary Uche Adibe praised President Tinubu’s leadership, describing his policies as purposeful steps toward national growth and shared prosperity.
He pledged the group’s continued loyalty and commitment to supporting the President’s re-election bid, citing what he called consistent efforts to reposition Nigeria on the path of progress.
