Two Suspected Cattle Thieves Arrested by Ilara CDA Security Team in Midnight Bust

- Two suspected cattle thieves arrested by Ilara CDA Security Team at 2:15 AM on Sunday, March 16th, 2025.
- Suspects identified as Temidayo Samuel from Ondo State and Mufutau Jimoh from Oyo State.

In the early hours of Sunday, March 16th, 2025, the Ilara Community Development Association (CDA) Security Force apprehended two suspected cattle thieves during a patrol operation in Ilara-Eredo Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Ekohotblog gathers that the suspects, Temidayo Samuel from Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State, and Mufutau Jimoh from Surulere Local Government Area in Oyo State, were intercepted at exactly 2:15 AM.

They were caught as part of a group believed to be responsible for the theft of cows from residents in the area.
According to the Ilara CDA Security Team, the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to combat the increasing cases of cattle theft which have affected local livestock owners.
The team confirmed that both suspects will be handed over to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.
“We will be handing the suspects over to the police for further investigation and legal action,” the security team stated.
“We respectfully urge the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Eredo to handle the case with the necessary diligence and care it requires.”
The operation has been hailed by residents as a much-needed step in restoring safety and protecting property in the community. The CDA Security Team also reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining law and order.
