Description
- GoChic Elegance is hiring a social media manager who will shape her social media brand voice and monitor her social media content.
- The Social Media Officer job focuses on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets.
Job Responsibilities
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
- Organizing and scheduling when to make social media posts
- Coming up with a brand voice and an identity for company’s brand
- Maintaining relationships with influencers
- Staying up to date with social media marketing trend
- Ensuring that social media strategies engage leads
- Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
- Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives
- Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
- Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with the company’s brand and social media strategy
- Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
- Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent.
Educational & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in an advertising or sales position
- B.Sc qualification in marketing, communications (or similar).
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of social media marketing channels
- Competency with SEO strategies to optimize content
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to analyze and interpret complex data
- The ability to write compelling copy
- Experience with content management
- The ability to create a range of content, including videos and images.
