The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Fatai Tijani, has urged applicants in the 2025 Police Constable Recruitment Exercise to complete their screening before Saturday’s deadline.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Tijani made the call on Thursday during a visit to the screening centre at the Police College Ikeja, where he monitored the exercise and ensured adherence to laid-down guidelines.

In a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, the commissioner also met with officials of the Police Service Commission, Federal Character Commission, and the Police Community Relations Committee, who were present to oversee the process.
The CP commended the level of organisation at the centre, expressing satisfaction with the professionalism and coordination among the agencies involved.
He noted that the exercise aligns with directives from the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, aimed at ensuring transparency and merit in recruitment nationwide.

Tijani urged applicants who are yet to undergo screening to take advantage of the remaining time, warning that failure to participate before the deadline could lead to disqualification.
He also reassured the public of the command’s commitment to fairness, accountability, and integrity throughout the recruitment process.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the screening exercise, which began on March 9, is scheduled to end on Saturday.
