Moving the motion for the vote of confidence, the member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Francis Waive, commended President Tinubu for his developmental strides, especially the approval of a new Federal Medical Centre in Udu.
Waive also praised Governor Oborevwori, describing him as “a hardworking and progressive leader,” and urged members to mobilise constituents to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise to secure overwhelming support for both leaders in 2027.
The motion was unanimously adopted after being put to a voice vote by the forum’s chairman, Olorogun John Oguma, and seconded by Hon. Matthew Omonade, the member representing Ughelli North Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly.
In his welcome remarks, Oguma said the U3 forum was established to strengthen party unity and ensure the re-election of both President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.
“This gathering is to see how we can deliver Tinubu and Oborevwori come 2027. In Abuja, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock, and in Asaba, there is no vacancy in Dennis Osadebe House,” Oguma declared.

He added that the group aimed to ensure APC’s victory in all five elections in 2027, urging members to remain united and inclusive in strategy.
Deputy chairman of the forum and host, Chief Eddie Ono Sorhue, expressed gratitude for the privilege to host the meeting and commended members for their unity and commitment.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Rt. Hon. Festus Agas, former Secretary to the Delta State Government, lauded the forum’s leadership for maintaining cohesion and focus within the party.
Chairman of Udu Local Government Area, Chief Vincent Oyibode, commended the forum’s ongoing media sensitisation efforts around voter registration and encouraged members to ensure their communities register for voter cards ahead of the elections.
Speaking to journalists, Chief Fred Majemite hailed the endorsement as a “step in the right direction,” urging party faithful to mobilise support at the grassroots.
Former House of Representatives member Hon. Chris Oghenechovwen stressed the importance of unity within the U3 forum, describing it as “key to achieving electoral success.”
The meeting was attended by political leaders, stakeholders, and party members from Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu local government areas.
