FA Cup: Guardiola Gives Reasons Chelsea Beat Manchester City In Semi Final

Published

Thomas Tuchel continued his impressive performance as the coach of Chelsea as his team defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the English FA Cup.

The game was a very tense match as both teams came out to win but Chelsea seemed like the better side as they pressed the Manchester City team very well and dominated the midfield.

Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute to help the Blues progress to the final of the FA Cup and have a chance to win their first silverware this season.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has congratulated the Chelsea team, stating that they were very organized even though his team increased their rhythm in the final minutes.

Pep Guardiola also lamented that Chelsea played with seven players in the midfield and this made it difficult for Manchester City.

Both Chelsea and Manchester City have a huge chance to win the Champions League this season as they are in the semifinals of the competition.

Chelsea would square up against Real Madrid while Manchester City would lock horns against Paris Saint-Germain. Manchester City is also arguably favorites to win the English Premier League this season, EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.
