- Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has declared that President Bola Tinubu will secure victory in all 36 states during the 2027 presidential election.
- Speaking at the SWAGA 2.0 inauguration in Akure, the governor stated that the President’s reforms saved Nigeria from an imminent economic collapse fueled by previous fiscal mismanagement.
- If achieved, a clean sweep of all 36 states would be the first of its kind in the history of Nigeria’s democratic elections.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has projected an unprecedented landslide victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that addressing the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA 2.0) on Wednesday in Akure, the governor asserted that the President’s national appeal is now beyond challenge.

He noted that because the current administration has creditably salvaged the economy, even opposition governors are now aligning with the President’s party to move the nation forward.
Aiyedatiwa cited his own recent success in winning all 18 local government areas in Ondo State as evidence that such a dominant electoral performance is possible for the President at the federal level.
The governor provided a blunt assessment of the financial state of the country prior to Tinubu’s intervention.
He described a period where the national economy was at the point of breaking, characterized by the printing of currency and the use of crude oil as collateral for loans.
According to Aiyedatiwa, the work of political mobilization groups like SWAGA has become easier because the results of the President’s “bold decisions” are now visible to the public.
He emphasized that there is currently no viable alternative to the President’s leadership, which has prompted many from opposing political camps to join the APC.
Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority and leader of the SWAGA group, supported this outlook.
He argued that Tinubu’s administration successfully pulled Nigeria back from a dangerous precipice through decisive sectoral reforms.
Adeyeye specifically pointed to the resolution of long standing academic strikes and the stabilization of key industries as proof that the President deserves a second term.

He noted that the administration’s focus on building a sustainable foundation for development has started to yield measurable benefits for Nigerians across all geopolitical zones.
The convener of the group, Oyetunde Ojo, added that the voluntary defection of governors and other political heavyweights to the APC is a testament to the trust the President has built.
He recalled that the group’s early support for Tinubu years ago was based on a belief in his capacity to deliver, a belief he claims has now been justified by his performance in office.
As the group ramps up its activities for the next election cycle, the message from the Akure inauguration remains centered on political consolidation and the pursuit of a historic mandate that covers every state in the federation.
