According to JAMB, the slip provides essential details such as the candidate’s examination venue, date, and time, and is required for entry into the examination hall.
Candidates are expected to log on to the board’s portal and select the “2026 Slip Printing” option to retrieve their documents.

The announcement follows JAMB’s dismissal of a widely circulated false notice claiming the examination had been postponed. The board described the information as fake and misleading, urging candidates to ignore it.
The 2026 UTME is scheduled to take place between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
Earlier, the board conducted a mock examination on March 28 to test its systems, though some Computer-Based Test centres experienced technical issues.
Out of 224,597 candidates who registered for the mock exam, 152,586 successfully participated across 989 CBT centres nationwide.

JAMB also revealed that more than 20 centres were removed from the exercise due to technical shortcomings.
Additionally, the board cautioned candidates against scammers operating on WhatsApp who claim they can boost examination scores.
JAMB described such claims as fraudulent and warned that anyone involved risks having their registration cancelled or their results withheld.
