EKO HOT BLOG reports that Mark made the remark on Wednesday while addressing members of the Forum of the ADC, made up of former federal lawmakers, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
According to him, the departure of the two politicians would have an impact on the party, but insisted that the development would motivate members to strengthen the opposition platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said, “No doubt, the exit of Obi and Kwankwaso has its impact but that will spur us to work harder.”
The former Senate President urged party members to remain united and avoid internal divisions, warning against attempts to create factions within the party.
“We must close our ranks and avoid issues of factionalization. Our opponents are bringing renegades as one-man factions. We shall overcome all their shenanigans,” he stated.
Mark also expressed confidence in the ADC’s ability to overcome its current challenges and produce candidates capable of winning elections.
“Nigerians are already with us and we all need to be on board. That is why I urge us all to work together and succeed together,” he added.

The development comes days after Obi and Kwankwaso officially left the ADC for the Nigerian Democratic Congress as part of moves to pursue a joint presidential ambition ahead of the 2027 elections.
