Trending on Twitter since yesterday is the winner of Big Brother Naija lockdown reality television show, Laycon, and the South African most valuable rapper, Nasty C.
This trend was triggered after a popular Twitter blogger, named Jaynaija blog, made a tweet about an American Rapper, Eminem.
In the tweet below, the blogger asked her followers that if Eminem should do a rap song and insult Nigerians, which Nigerian rap artist can they look up to for revenge? Then one of her followers mentioned Laycon.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , Somewhere along the line, the most valuable South African rapper, Nasty C, was mentioned and that was how the trend started.
Some loyal fans of Laycon believe that the fast-rising artiste would beat Nasty C in the rap game QED. While others thought otherwise.
However, some loyal fans of Nasty C are not finding the trend funny as they believe that comparing Nasty C and Laycon is very disrespectful to the South African rapper, who has firmly established himself in the music industry.
They said that Nasty C should be compared with the likes of Olamide or some other top Nigerian rappers.
