Residents of Sabo Oke Poka in Eredo LCDA are set to benefit from improved access to clean and sustainable water supply as the ongoing Solar Powered Borehole Project facilitated by the administration of Ismail Monsuru Akinloye has reached about 90 percent completion.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the development was confirmed during an inspection visit carried out by the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Opetuga Bayo Olamilekan, who assessed the progress and quality of work at the project site.

Speaking during the inspection, the Works Supervisor expressed satisfaction with the pace and standard of the ongoing construction, describing the project as another significant intervention aimed at improving the welfare of residents at the grassroots level.
He also urged the contractor handling the project to ensure timely completion and delivery within the next few days, stressing the importance of providing the community with reliable access to potable water.
The solar-powered borehole project is expected to ease water challenges within the community while promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly water supply solutions.
