Gov Dapo Abiodun and Laycon At The International Youth Day Celebration In Ogun State (Photos)

  • The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun invited the youth Ambassador for Ogun state, Laycon, to his planned international Youth Day.

Few weeks ago, the Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun appointed winner of the reality Tv show Big Brother Naija, Olamilekan Laycon Agbelese as youth ambassador.

The Governor gifted Laycon a three-bedroom bungalow and N5 million.

” I look forward to working with you to be a model of good character, excellence, good virtues, calmness, integrity that are general attributes of Ogun state, and in fact, your homestead odeda” Abiodun said while hosting Laycon at the executive chamber of the governor’s office in the capital city of Abeokuta.

The international youth day is an awareness day designated by the united nations, the purpose of the day is to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth.

The first celeberation was observed on 12 August 2000. it is an annual celebration of the role of young women and men as essential partners in promoting human rights and development.

it is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges and hardships facing the world’s youth.
