Hon. Ogunkelu “Sketel” Builds Public Toilet, Borehole, Solar Lights for Poka Market

Ekohotblog reports that Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi, (Sketel) a Representative representing Epe constituency II in the Lagos State house of Assembly, has built a new public toilet, a borehole for clean water, and installed five solar lights at Pobo Market in Poka, Eredo LCDA.

This project is part of his ongoing efforts to make life better for the market men and women in Epe Constituency II.

On Tuesday, leaders and community members gathered to celebrate Hon. Sketel’s achievement and thank him for his work.

High Chief Waheed Ogunkoya, the Balogun of Poka, spoke on behalf of Oba Kolawole Aileru Alade Uraka of Poka and led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Hon. Sketel has done a wonderful work within the five years he’s been in office. We pray for God to bless him and keep him strong,” he said.

Chief Ogunkoya also encouraged the market traders to keep supporting Hon. Sketel. “Let’s continue backing him even beyond 2027 as a way to say thank you for all he’s doing for us,” he added.

Youth leader Comrade Sulaimon, who spoke on behalf of the young people of Poka, praised Hon. Sketel for his dedication.

“Hon. Sketel has raised the bar in Epe Constituency II. We, the youth of Poka and Eredo LCDA at large,fully support him and we are happy with his leadership style,” he said.

The Iyaloja, leading the women traders, also appreciated Sketel.

“Hon. Sketel always makes sure Poka Market is looked after.

We’re ready to support him beyond 2027 because of all he has done for us,” she said.

LGA party secretary Comrade Okeowo, who represented Hon. Sketel at the event, assured everyone of the lawmaker’s commitment.

“Hon. Sketel cares deeply for his people. He will continue to put his community’s needs first as long as he represents us,” he said.

Hon. Nashu, a senior leader from Ward L1, also thanked Hon. Sketel for listening to the needs of the people.

“Hon. Sketel has proven that he is capable and truly cares. We need to re-elect him to keep enjoying these benefits,” he said.

Finally, the Baba Loja, leading the men traders, expressed his gratitude.

“We thank Hon. Sketel and pray that God protects and continue to bless him for us as he keeps doing is good works ,” he said.
