Maverick singer Charles Oputa, known as Charly Boy, has advised Nigerian celebrities to stop airing their private lives in public, especially when it comes to marital issues.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that his comments come after the marriage crisis between Nigerian singer 2Baba and his wife, Annie Idibia.
In a recent interview with TVC, Charly Boy expressed sympathy for the couple but emphasized the importance of privacy in personal matters.

He stated, “We should keep our business private. Social media has changed things, but it’s up to us. I’ve had disagreements with my partner, but we settle them privately.”
Charly Boy further explained that if he were to separate from his wife, it would remain a private matter. “If I were to stop living with my wife today, nobody would know about it. I won’t make noise about it,” he added.
Meanwhile, Nigerian journalist Kikelomo Atanda-Owo, speaking on her show ‘Real Talk With Kike,’ highlighted the importance of self-reliance for women in relationships.
