A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has stepped up political consultations with key stakeholders as preparations intensify for the party’s forthcoming primaries.
Eko Hot Blog reports that as part of his recent engagements, Jandor met with members of the Governance Advisory Council, including its chairman, Tajudeen Olusi.

He also held separate meetings with prominent party figures such as James Omolaja Odumbaku, former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji, and party chieftain Monsuru Owolabi Batola.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, the meetings were described as part of a strategic effort to deepen consultations, build consensus, and strengthen unity within party ranks.
The statement added that the aspirant has directed leaders within his political structure across the state’s 377 wards and 13,326 polling units to begin grassroots mobilisation ahead of the primaries.

Jandor is said to be adopting a dual approach engaging top party leaders while also reaching out directly to grassroots members to widen his support base and reinforce cohesion within the party.
Coordinators across his network have also been mobilised to intensify engagement with party faithful at the ward and polling unit levels.
The aspirant reaffirmed his commitment to party discipline and unity, acknowledging the influential role of the GAC in shaping the direction of the APC in Lagos.
He also expressed readiness to align with decisions taken by party leadership and work collaboratively with stakeholders as the process unfolds.

The latest consultations come amid heightened political activity within the Lagos APC, following a recent meeting between Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat and members of the GAC, further signalling growing interest ahead of the governorship primaries.
