Lagos Speaker In Shock As Lawmakers Mourn Death Of Colleague
Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Obasa, has expressed shock over the death of one of the lawmakers.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale (alias OMITITI) representing Mushin Constituency 02 in the Lagos State House, died on Tuesday.

Olawale reportedly died after the presidential campaign flag-off of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau, Jos.
While condoling with the family of the deceased, Dr Obasa noted that Hon Olawale was a kind man that will be missed by many.
He said, “It is really a rude shock to hear of the sudden demise of my friend and colleague, Omititi.”
“Hon. Abdul-Sobur Olawale was a kind-hearted man. I condole the family at this time and pray for the repose of his soul. We will miss him.”
Also, members of the Lagos assembly also commiserate with the family of Hon Olawale.
Announcing the death in a statement signed by Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Hon. (Engr) Setonji David, the lawmaker mentioned with deep sadness that they will miss their colleague, Hon. Olawale.
“It is with deep sadness, sense of loss and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale (alias OMITITI) representing Mushin Constituency 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly who passed on today.”
“This death really hit us below the belt. We will all miss him more than words can express. We urge you to join us in prayers for his family at this time, a second-term lawmaker left us unexpectedly and threw the who House into mourning,” Hon Setonji said on behalf of the lawmakers.
