The atmosphere at the gathering was filled with excitement as members repeatedly expressed satisfaction with the developmental projects, empowerment programmes, and welfare initiatives facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji across communities within Epe Federal Constituency.
Speaking on behalf of the Ikosi-Ejinrin axis, Ademola described Rep. Wale Raji as a grassroots leader who has consistently demonstrated commitment to the growth and survival of cooperative societies and small-scale businesses.
According to him, the cooperative support funds and empowerment initiatives facilitated by the lawmaker have provided financial relief and economic opportunities for many transport operators, traders, and business owners struggling with the present economic realities.
“Rep. Wale Raji has continued to stand with the people. The cooperative funds and empowerment programmes have helped many of our members sustain and grow their businesses. We are supporting him because we have seen the impact directly in our lives and communities,” he stated.
Also addressing members at the event, Omowunmi Seriki praised the lawmaker for maintaining strong relationships with grassroots associations and continuously supporting women, transport workers, and cooperative groups through several intervention programmes.
She noted that beyond financial empowerment, communities across Eredo LCDA have benefited immensely from infrastructural projects including roads, solar streetlights, educational facilities, healthcare interventions, and market development initiatives facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji.
“Many communities can testify to the visible projects Rep. Wale Raji has attracted to Epe Federal Constituency. His support for cooperative groups, women, and small businesses has strengthened many families economically,” she said.
Representing Epe Local Government, Olushola described the lawmaker as a leader whose representation remains visible across all sectors of the constituency.
She highlighted several constituency projects ranging from road rehabilitation, school construction, youth empowerment, market development, healthcare support, and solar-powered streetlight installations as major reasons members resolved to unanimously endorse his return to the National Assembly.
“Our support is based on performance, accessibility, and visible development. Rep. Wale Raji has not disconnected from the grassroots, and that is why cooperative members across Epe Division are standing firmly behind him once again,” she stated.
The association leaders further reaffirmed their confidence in Hon. Abiodun Tobun and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that continuity in leadership would help consolidate ongoing developmental efforts and strengthen the progress already being witnessed across Epe Division and Nigeria as a whole.
Several speakers at the gathering noted that the administration of President Tinubu and the representation of leaders like Wale Raji and Abiodun Tobun have continued to inspire confidence among grassroots communities due to their people-oriented programmes and direct engagement with residents.
Responding to the overwhelming endorsement, Rep. Wale Raji expressed deep appreciation to members of LASCOTA across Epe, Eredo, and Ikosi-Ejinrin for their trust, loyalty, and unwavering support.
The lawmaker assured cooperative societies and residents that he would continue to prioritize policies and programmes capable of improving livelihoods, boosting local businesses, supporting transportation groups, and expanding developmental projects across the constituency.
“I sincerely appreciate the support and confidence reposed in me by members of LASCOTA and the good people of Epe Federal Constituency. This support encourages us to continue doing more for our people through quality representation and impactful projects,” he stated.
The event ended on a celebratory note with chants of solidarity, prayers for continued progress, and renewed commitments by cooperative members to mobilize grassroots support for APC candidates across Epe Division ahead of future political activities.
