Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, was present at the Kaduna State High Court on Tuesday for his formal arraignment by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
El-Rufai, who had been in detention for over a month, is facing a 10-count charge bordering on alleged misappropriation of public assets, unlawful possession of government property, and money laundering, Eko Hot Blog gathered.

He was earlier brought before Justice Rilwan Aikawa, with the court scheduling March 31, 2026, to address pending applications, including his request for bail.

Prior to the latest court appearance, the anti-graft agency granted him temporary release on March 27 to enable him attend the burial of his mother, Hajiya Ummar El-Rufai, in Cairo, Egypt.
