He maintained that a massive margin of victory for Oyebanji is essential to demonstrating the region’s commitment to the President’s broader mandate.
The gathering featured several high-profile political figures, including former Governor Segun Oni, who praised the group’s 2023 efforts and noted that Nigeria’s global potential is being rediscovered under the current administration.
Convener Oyetunde Ojo and National Woman Leader Mrs. Ayo Omidiran echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that Governor Oyebanji’s role as a founding member of the state movement makes him the ideal candidate to lead Ekiti through a period of consolidation.

They argued that voting en masse for the governor would strengthen the cumulative vote count necessary for the President in 2027.
Governor Oyebanji, who attended the program, credited President Tinubu for the significant progress made in Ekiti over the last three and a half years, specifically citing federal support for road construction and airport completion.
He remarked that governance has become more efficient under the current federal leadership and urged All Progressives Congress (APC) members to avoid complacency.
The governor called for grassroots mobilization, instructing supporters to ensure every member brings at least three to five registered voters to the polls to surpass the 500,000-vote target.
