In the game, Kevin De Bruyne engaged in a little brawl with Arsenal’s manager and former Assistant Manager of Manchester City, Mikel Arteta.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the English Football Association (FA) has opened an investigation into the objects that were thrown at Kevin de Bruyne, the Manchester City midfielder, during the team’s Premier League match against Arsenal on Wednesday.
The incident occurred as De Bruyne was leaving the pitch after being substituted late in the game.

Referee Anthony Taylor may have included the incident in his match report, prompting the FA to take action.
Arsenal has claimed to be investigating CCTV footage to identify the culprits and pledged to take action against them.
“This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” said an Arsenal spokesperson.
De Bruyne contributed two assists to City’s 3-1 victory, which elevated the team above Arsenal in the Premier League standings on the basis of superior goal difference.
After the match, the Belgian international posted a photo on his Instagram story of objects thrown at him with the caption, “beer anyone?”
He also shared a photo of himself holding a cup aloft, captioned “thanks!”
During the match, De Bruyne was also involved in a scuffle with Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s coach and former assistant to City’s Pep Guardiola.
Five minutes into the second half, Arsenal’s Gabriel had kicked the ball out of play for a throw-in.

The Belgian player then poked Arteta in the face to express his displeasure with the Arsenal manager’s actions.
