- Raji thanks APC members and opponents after winning Saturday’s Epe Federal Constituency primary, describing the victory as a collective achievement.
- He pledges to consolidate his constituency record and champion Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda in a fourth term.
- The lawmaker calls on all APC members to unite ahead of the January 2027 general election.
Rep. Wale Raji, the Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has thanked the leadership, members, and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his victory in the May 16 primary election, while setting out a broad agenda for what would be an unprecedented fourth term in the green chamber.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that, in a statement titled “Renewed Mandate, Better Deal, Greater Impact,” Raji struck a tone of humility and gratitude, describing the outcome as “not merely a personal triumph” but “a collective affirmation of our shared commitment to progressive ideals, people-centered leadership and sustainable development.”

He further described the victory as a reflection of the constituency’s faith in the direction of his representation, saying it was “a testament to the enduring belief that together, we can continue to build a more prosperous and inclusive Epe Federal Constituency where opportunities abound and lives are positively transformed.”
Acknowledging the competitive nature of the primary, which saw him face three challengers, Raji extended an olive branch to his opponents: Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA); Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye, a lawyer and former National Population Commission (NPC) federal commissioner; and Bakare Isiaka Adeyinka, popularly known as Eruobodo.
The lawmaker commended them for their “courage, sportsmanship and willingness to contribute to the growth of our party by offering themselves for service,” calling their participation a positive contribution to internal democracy.
Framing the result as a collective rather than personal achievement, he said: “This victory belongs to all of us. It presents another opportunity to work together in advancing the collective aspirations of our people and delivering greater dividends of democracy for the benefit of present and future generations across Epe Federal Constituency.”
Raji further emphasised that the contest had produced no losers. “In this contest, there is no victor or vanquished: we are all winners,” he said.

Accepting the mandate with what he described as a deeper sense of responsibility, Raji, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development, outlined the priorities that would define his fourth term, should he win the general election.
He pledged to do “even more,” adding that, “By the grace of God and with your continued support, we shall consolidate on our achievements, expand opportunities for our youths and women, strengthen critical infrastructure, support economic growth and continue to champion Mr. President’s Renewed Hope agenda.”
With the January 2027 general election now in view, the Epe representative used the statement to rally the party faithful, urging members across the constituency to put the primary season behind them and face the next contest as a united force.
“Let us close ranks, build stronger bridges of cooperation and work tirelessly to secure victory for all APC candidates,” he said. “Together, we can ensure that the gains of progressive governance are sustained and expanded for the benefit of our people.”
Raji, who won an unprecedented third term in the 2023 general election, has represented Epe Federal Constituency since 2015. Over three terms, he has facilitated the construction of over 42 classrooms, built new schools in underserved communities including Temu, Ilege, Owu-Ikosi, and Oko-Abe, commissioned an 81-computer ICT centre at Ogunmodede College, and delivered over 300 market stalls, solar street lights, and road rehabilitation projects across the constituency.
In April, a performance ranking by Lagos Reporters placed him second among all 24 Lagos members of the House of Representatives, with 12,450 points, behind only Benson Adegoke of Ikorodu.
