- Iconic singer Céline Dion has officially announced her return to the stage with a 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena in September and October 2026.
- This marks her first full concert series since 2020, following her 2022 diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological condition that affected her mobility and vocal cords.
- The announcement coincided with the star’s 58th birthday, with the Eiffel Tower lighting up in her honor to signal the comeback.
Global music icon Céline Dion is set to make a triumphant return to the spotlight, ending a four-year hiatus caused by a grueling battle with an incurable health condition.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the “Power of Love” singer revealed on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, that she will perform 10 exclusive shows at the 40,000-capacity Paris La Défense Arena.

The announcement turned into a city-wide celebration in the French capital. Shortly after 8:00 pm GMT, the Eiffel Tower was illuminated with the message “Paris, je suis prête” (Paris, I am ready), accompanied by a playlist of her greatest hits.
In an emotional video message shared in both English and French, Dion told her fans that she is feeling strong and excited, despite some natural nerves.
“I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul,” she said, referencing the intense physical and vocal therapy she has undergone five days a week to combat Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
The residency is strategically scheduled, with performances spaced several days apart to ensure the star’s physical well-being.
This cautious approach follows years of struggle where the condition (which causes severe muscle spasms) made walking and singing nearly impossible.
Dion’s last full performance was in Newark, New Jersey, in March 2020, before the pandemic and her subsequent health crisis forced a total cancellation of her “Courage” world tour.

Fans have been anticipating this move since her moving performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she sang from the Eiffel Tower.
Registration for ticket interest began on March 31 through her official website, with general sales set to open on April 7. Given her status as the best-selling Canadian artist of all time, demand is expected to break records.
