Addressing the crowd at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Aiyedatiwa praised the initiative as a vital healthy living exercise that doubles as a strategic political mobilization tool.
“This is a commendable effort toward the re-election of President Bola Tinubu,” the Governor stated. “It is one of several activities lined up to mobilize grassroots support ahead of 2027.
By the grace of God, come January 2027, Ondo State will deliver nothing less than one million votes for the President.”
The walk was organized by the TinubuDatiwa Support Group, coordinated by Kehinde Akinrotoye, a former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports.

Akinrotoye noted that the walk was designed to galvanize trust and confidence in the President’s leadership across all 18 local government areas and three senatorial districts of the state.
Supporting this sentiment, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Henry Omoyofunmi, added that the large turnout is a clear indicator that the people of Ondo State are ready to embrace and sustain the initiatives of the ruling party.
Governor Aiyedatiwa concluded by urging supporters to take the momentum back to their respective communities, emphasizing that the “real work” of electioneering happens at the local units and wards.
