Alhaja Sherifat’s Legacy Lives on – Chief Odujoye

Chief Olorun Tele Odujoye, Chairman of the Ikorodu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has praised the life and impact of the late Alhaja Sherifat Oladipupo, describing her as a remarkable woman whose legacy lives on through her children.
In an interview with EkoHotBlog, Chief Odujoye admitted that he never met Alhaja Sherifat Oladipupo personally, but through her daughter, Professor Oladipupo Basirat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University of Science and Technology, he could see the reflection of a great mother.

She is an intelligent, hardworking, and disciplined woman. For someone to have raised a wonderful woman like her, then she must have been a very good mother indeed.
The impact of a mother is seen in the values her children uphold, and Prof. Basirat is a clear testament to the good upbringing and wisdom of her mother.”
Chief Odujoye urged the family to keep the fire burning and protect the legacy that Alhaja Sherifat left behind.
