During the briefing, Adewuyi conveyed the governor’s appreciation to service commanders for their continued efforts, expressing optimism that ongoing security collaborations would safeguard residents.

He appealed to citizens to work closely with law enforcement by reporting suspicious activity and supporting community-based intelligence.
Adeleke also condemned the killings recorded during the Ilesa unrest, warning political actors against resorting to thuggery and intimidation. He stressed that genuine leaders must respect the will of the people and embrace peaceful democratic processes.
In a related move, the state government announced plans to introduce mobile courts staffed with eight magistrates.

The initiative, developed through cooperation between the executive and judiciary, aims to fast-track the handling of overnight arrests, remand hearings, and other criminal matters to reduce congestion in detention centers.
The governor explained that the mobile courts became necessary to prevent human rights violations, address overcrowding, and maintain order while the judiciary works to resolve ongoing industrial disputes.
Osun’s Chief Judge has approved the request, paving the way for the mobile courts to begin operations soon.
