Baales in Council Visit Ibeju-Lekki Chairman, Hon. Oluwa, Inspect Major Projects
Ekohotblog reports that the Baales in Council, led by the Chairman, High Chief (Dr.) Nurudeen Adekunle, paid a visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.
As part of the visit, the Baales in Council and Hon. Olowa proceeded on an inspection of several projects currently underway.
These projects included the new legislative building, which aims to provide a modern workspace for lawmakers, and the newly completed Secretariat road, which is to improve connectivity within the community.
The delegation also inspected the proposed Ibeju-Lekki Housing Estate, a project aimed at providing affordable homes to meet the growing housing demand in the region.
They also assessed the ongoing construction of the executive building, a facility designed to improve administrative efficiency and service delivery.
Speaking at the tour, High Chief (Dr.) Adekunle expressed his gratitude with the progress of the projects.
“I am really impressed by the vision and commitment of Hon. Olowa in driving development across Ibeju-Lekki. These projects are not just a mere buildings; they will also serve as investments in the future of our people,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of these projects, stating that, “The construction of roads and housing estates will not only make the movement of our people easy but will also create job opportunities and enhance the overall economy of Ibeju-Lekki.”
Hon. Olowa thanked the Baales in Council for their visit and usual support.
“It is an honor to receive the blessings and encouragement of our traditional rulers.
My administration is committed to ensuring that these projects are completed on time and to maintain the highest standards, so that the people of Ibeju-Lekki can enjoy better infrastructure and services,” he stated.
The chairman also highlighted the long-term vision for the area, saying, “We are working tirelessly to position Ibeju-Lekki as a hub of development.
Projects like the Housing Estate and improved road networks, we are creating a foundation for attracting investments and improving the quality of life for our residents.”
The inspection tour ended on a positive note, with the Baales reassuring their support for the local government’s ongoing projects.
“We are proud of the work being done here, and we stand fully behind the leadership of Hon. Olowa as he continues to build a brighter future for our community,” High Chief Adekunle concluded.
