Cubana Chief Priest was raised in Umuhu Okabia, in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state, and later joined his father in Aba, Abia state where he learned how to make shoes, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu never gave up in Shoe business, according to him, he made his first 1million naira from shoemaking during his school days in Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, growing up in the company of his siblings.

In April 2022, popular Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, was apprehended by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

It was reported on that the EFCC operatives arrested Mr Okechukwu at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

According to sources, who asked not to be named because they did not have permission to speak publicly on the matter, Mr Okechukwu was arrested at the airport while trying to board a flight to Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Multiple sources familiar with the matter informed this newspaper that Mr Okechukwu was trailed and monitored by a team of EFCC detectives at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
