Details of Tinubu’s Closed-Door meeting with Jonathan have been revealed.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that more information has emerged on the meeting between Former President, Goodluck Jonathan and the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC on Tuesday night in Abuja.
The ex-Lagos State Governor visited Jonathan in the company of his vice, Kashim Shettima and five other APC Governors namely; The Governor of Plateau State and director-general campaign council, Simon Lalong, Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, Zamfara State governor, Bello Matawale, Jigawa State governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The meeting was part of a nationwide consultation with critical stakeholders. Tinubu formally told Jonathan about his Presidential ambition and sought his support.
“Truly, he (Jonathan) is at home with us. He was very receptive. You know the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) no longer accorded him that respect.”
“He is more comfortable with us. He was happy that Asiwaju visited him. He is at home with his aspirations.”
Both leaders also discussed widely on various national issues and the forthcoming general elections.
