Shamsiyya, a resident of Brigade Quarters, Kano, was apprehended on December 21, 2024, following numerous complaints of stolen mobile phones in Unguwa Uku Quarters, Kano.
Throughout 2024, the police received multiple reports regarding a young lady who frequently stole mobile phones from residential houses.
Investigations revealed that Shamsiyya collaborated with a tricycle rider and a cybercriminal to facilitate her operations.

The police have so far recovered six mobile phones and are intensifying their efforts to recover more stolen items.
