Nigerians Call For Arrest Of NCDC Ambassador, Funke Akindele & Husband, See Why
Nigerians have taken to social media to call for the arrest of Nollywood actress and NCDC Ambassador, Funke Akindele popularly known as Jennifer after she threw a house party that defied the lockdown, social distancing, and self-isolation.
In a video circulating on social media, Akindele had her full of guests including other celebrities at a time the government directed a 14-day lockdown to help the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control trace contacts and contain COVID-19.
Some Nigerians found Akindele’s defiance of government order as irresponsible and have called for her arrest by the authorities.
Ekohotblog gathered that controversial singer, Naira Marley and Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus among others were in attendance.
Although, the date of the party is yet to be confirmed, guests were not wearing face masks or observing any precautionary measures spelt out by the government.
The video of the house party was posted by her husband, JJC Skillz who used his mobile phone to record the event with his wife also in the video.
