Olu Epe of Epe At 86: Chieftains, Royalties Render Special Prayers and Good Wishes

Ekohotblog reports that on the occasion of the 86th birthday anniversary of Olu Epe of Epe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Shefiu Ọlatunji Adewale, the royal family and people of Epe Kingdom gathered together to offer special prayers and warm wishes.

The event took place at the royal palace, as community leaders, family members, and residents assembled to show their love and appreciation to the king’s nobility and prosperous leadership style in his 14th year on the throne and offer good wishes and prayers.

Speaking at the gathering, Alhaji Ijaodola, also known as ‘More Blessing,’ praised Oba Shefiu for his hard work in making Epe a better place for everyone.

“Oba Shefiu Adewale has been a blessing to Epe. He has done so much to help our community grow,

“Before he became king 14 years ago, he already made it his goal to develop Epe. He has not only achieved that, but he has also set a great example for everyone to follow.”

Alhaji Ijaodola stated that Oba Shefiu has shown true leadership and has made history by becoming a first-class Oba, something no past kings of Epe kingdom had achieved.

“He’s a leader we should all look up to,” he added. “Even though no one is perfect, Oba Shefiu is as close to perfect as a leader can be.” He added.

Alhaji Ijaodola urged everyone to learn from the king’s commitment to youth development, education, and other areas that help improve Epe kingdom.

“We should try to be like him. He’s a king who cares about his people, especially the youth and their education,” he concluded.

After his speech, the League of Alfas, along with Alhaji Ijaodola and the royal family, offered prayers, wishing the king long life and prosperity.

“We pray that God continues to bless Oba Shefiu with good health and wisdom.

May his reign be filled with peace and more achievements,” Alhaji Ijaodola said during the prayer session.

The people of Epe kingdom shared their happiness and pride in having such a dedicated leader.

As the event came to an end, many wished the king a happy birthday and prayed for many more successful years under his leadership and reign.
