EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Oscar which is considered the biggest night in Hollywood has officially wrapped with plenty of historic firsts.
The best picture went to “CODA,” a film about a singer balancing her ambitions and her family that became a milestone for Deaf representation in the entertainment industry. Jessica Chastain won her first Oscar for best actress in a leading role for her performance in “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.” Will Smith took home his first Oscar for best actor in a leading role in “King Richard.”
Ariana DeBose won the best actress in a supporting role for her performance in “West Side Story” and Jane Campion received the award for best director for “The Power of the Dog.”
