The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports claiming that its delegates were stranded during the party’s national convention in Abuja, describing the allegations as inaccurate and misleading.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, urged the public to disregard claims suggesting that delegates faced logistical difficulties due to a lack of mobilisation funds.

He maintained that all accredited delegates from Lagos were properly transported to the convention in a well-coordinated manner, with adequate arrangements made for their movement and welfare.
According to him, upon arrival in Abuja, delegates were also provided with suitable accommodation, countering reports of any form of neglect.
Oladejo further clarified that the Lagos State Government does not fund party activities, stressing that the APC handles its operations independently through its internal structures.

He called on the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports.
The Lagos APC also reaffirmed its commitment to party unity and its continued support for governance efforts at both the state and federal levels.
