President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to participate in the 2026 Africa CEO Forum scheduled to hold from May 14 to 15 in Kigali, where top African leaders and business executives will converge to discuss the continent’s economic future.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that a strong Nigerian delegation is also expected at the forum, including leading industrialist Aliko Dangote and other prominent figures from the private sector and government.

The forum, organised by Jeune Afrique Media Group and co hosted by the International Finance Corporation, will focus on how Africa can build the scale needed to compete and thrive in a rapidly changing global economy.
According to the organisers, discussions at the 2026 edition will centre on strengthening cross border investments, developing shared infrastructure, and harmonising regulatory frameworks to enhance economic integration across the continent.
The event will bring together policymakers, investors, and corporate leaders to explore strategies for building resilient African businesses capable of competing globally.

President of the forum, Amir Ben Yahmed, noted that Africa must move beyond economic nationalism and embrace shared ownership and partnerships to unlock growth.
Similarly, Managing Director of the IFC, Makhtar Diop, emphasised the need to mobilise African capital at scale, stressing that collaboration and cross border investment are key to driving job creation and long term development.
The Africa CEO Forum is widely regarded as one of the continent’s leading platforms for high level dialogue between the public and private sectors on economic transformation.
