The 537-page collector’s edition is the result of over seven months of research and editorial work, led by publisher and editor Joseph Edgar. According to him, the project aims to provide a well-rounded and honest documentation of power and influence in modern Nigeria.
Built around the theme “Visionary Leadership as a Catalyst for National Socio-Economic Growth,” the book also features 50 essays from respected voices across different fields.
Contributors include former Lagos governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse III, legal scholar Kanyinsola Ajayi, policy analyst Magnus Onyibe, and former lawmaker Dakuku Peterside.

Edgar explained that the book doesn’t just celebrate influence but also reflects the full spectrum of leadership in Nigeria, including both positive impact and controversial legacies.
Each of the 100 personalities is profiled with detailed biographies and illustrated caricatures, blending storytelling with visual artistry to create an engaging reading experience.
The publication is scheduled for an official launch in October 2026, with unveiling events planned in Lagos and Abuja. Organisers say it is expected to serve as a valuable reference for scholars, policymakers, business leaders, and anyone interested in understanding power and influence in Nigeria.
