“The abuse of African men in the USA must end. Dr. Ikenna Erinne, an American-trained cardiologist, reportedly took his own life after being ordered to pay his ex-wife $15,000 monthly, following a contentious divorce case,” Udo wrote.
Udo, who claims expertise in psychological and mental abuse, further alleged that Erinne had spent thousands of dollars in legal fees and even lost his medical license due to the case.
“He shot himself to death. He spent thousands in legal fees—wasted money. This process impoverishes you. He lost his license as a cardiologist and was still ordered to pay $15,000 monthly, with restricted access to his children,” he added.
Another member of the Nigerian community in the U.S., Obim Onujiogu, also confirmed Erinne’s passing in a Facebook post, describing him as a compassionate healer and devoted family man.
