Eko Hot Blog reports that Member representing Epe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Wale Raji on Friday defeated three other contestants to clinch the APC ticket ahead of the 2023 general elections.
As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, the Epe House of Representatives Primary Election of the APC was held at Epe Jubilee Chalet.
Hon Wale Raji, who contested the party’s ticket against three other aspirants cruised to a comfortable victory, winning with a wide margin with 84 votes. Two other aspirants shared 3 votes each, totalling 90 duly accredited delegates.
The election was not only historic based on the conduct; but free, fair, transparent and credible.
Delegates displayed a high level of decorum and orderliness as Epe Division waited with bated breadth to discover who would fly the flag of Lagos state’s most dominant party at the highly anticipated 2023 elections.
In his appreciation speech, the lawmaker thanked the media, his political leaders and the people of Epe for rewarding his audible achievements in office with their massive votes.
