EKO HOT BLOG reports that pressure has mounted at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea recorded just one win in their last eight matches across all competitions. Their recent 2 0 defeat to Everton FC marked a fourth consecutive loss, leaving the club in sixth position on the Premier League table.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said the club’s position remains unchanged, confirming continued backing for the manager.
“Obviously, Chelsea maintain their support in Liam Rosenior,” he said. “They also spoke in public about that before the Everton game, mentioning meetings, mentioning discussions, mentioning the intention win and be aligned with Chelsea about summer transfer plans.
“So Rosenior is maintaining the full confidence and, at the moment, that’s the situation with the club.”
While Rosenior retains the backing of the club hierarchy, attention has shifted to the players following another disappointing performance.
Former Chelsea captain Gary Cahill criticised goalkeeper Robert Sánchez after a costly error in the defeat to Everton.
Cahill highlighted the moment Sánchez allowed the ball to slip through his legs, leading to a goal.
“Clearly, the goalkeeper will be extremely disappointed with that; you know, nine times out of ten, he would typically gather those, but it went through his legs,” Cahill said.
“Very careless, very careless. Currently, these situations are proving to be costly.”

Sánchez has conceded 52 goals in 41 appearances this season, although he has also recorded 14 clean sheets across competitions.
Chelsea’s recent form has raised concerns over their push for a top four finish, even as the club continues to publicly back its manager.
