AFCON Qualifiers: West Brom Celebrate Ajayi On Super Eagles’ Win Over Libya
After facing frustration for much of the match, substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute.

Ajayi came on in the 90th minute, replacing Ademola Lookman.
This win marked the Eagles’ second victory in three qualifying matches, allowing them to retain their position at the top of the group with seven points.
Commenting on the game, West Brom wrote on their website: ”Semi Ajayi made a late substitute appearance as Nigeria secured a 1-0 AFCON qualifying victory over Libya on Friday evening.

“The Albion man was named on the bench for the fixture and came on in second-half added time to help see out his nation’s success at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
“Fisayo Dele-Bashiru netted the only goal of the game in the 86th minute, lifting the Super Eagles atop their group ahead of their second successive fixture against Libya on Tuesday evening (8pm ko).

Up next for Ajayi and his Super Eagles teammates is a trip to Benghazi for the Second leg which will take place on Tuesday, October 15.
