Epe Grand Chief Imam sues for peace and cooperation as he visits Alara and Oloja

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the newly appointed Grand Chief Imam and President, League of Imams and Alfas, Epe Division, Fadeelatul Sheikh Alhaji Abiola Aliru Sadala, on Monday 17th January 2022, called on all Muslims in the Division to support his leadership.

Sheikh Sadala made this call in an interview during his visit to the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Oba Dr Olukayode Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, Telade IV, in Ilara, Epe.

Stating the significance of the visit, Sheikh Sadala said, “I’m here in the palace because I’m excited. I have come to pay a courtesy visit to an accomplished Royal father, the Alara of Ilara kingdom. He is my father and I am here to show gratitude to him.

“According to what we’ve discussed, he made me realise that he’s been expecting my visit. I thought it wise to visit him first before I sojourn to other places today.”

The Grand Chief Imam further revealed that it was in the best interest for all sides to come together and support his leadership for peace, progress and development of the Muslim Umah, stating that he was nobody to shoulder the enormous tasks awaiting him alone.

“A tree alone can not make a forest and there’s no task, no matter how little, anyone can embark upon alone. It is only the Almighty that has the power to do things without being questioned.

“The task ahead of me is enormous and I use this medium to plead and call on all Islamic stakeholders in Epe Division to join hands with me to uplift our religious community.

“The tasks are like a Container of Goods used at the Sea Ports, it’s impossible to be carried on the head alone,” he said.

He, thereafter, prayed to the Almighty God to help intervene in the grey areas encountered in the Division.

This online media platform gathered that the Grand Chief Imam also led his entourage to the palace of the Oloja of Epe Kingdom, HRM, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, Arolugbade Elepe II.

Having been warmly received by the Royal father, it was reported that the message of peace and togetherness was preached by the Grand Chief Imam, while also soliciting the immeasurable support of Oloja Epe.

EKO HOT BLOG recall that Fadeelatul Sheikh Alhaji Abiola Aliru Sadala’s appointment was declared by the first female chairman of Epe, Princess Surah Animashaun on Thursday 13th January 2022, at the Conference Hall of Epe Local Government.
