The Federal Government has announced that Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, 2026, will be public holidays in observance of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the government. In a statement released on Tuesday by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani, Tunji-Ojo extended warm congratulations to Muslims on completing the fasting period.
