Gov Sanwo-Olu, Ambode, Wale Raji, Others Win Big at Epe Division Community Annual Award 2024
Ekohotblog reports that the Epe Division Community Annual Award (EDCAA) celebrated its 5th edition in a grand event that honored the remarkable sons and daughters of Epe Division for their contributions to community development and excellence.
Themed Rewarding Excellence: Inspiring Community Development and Societal Impact, the ceremony, organized by the Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) in partnership with SEOL Investment and Communication Ltd., highlighted the importance of giving back to one’s roots and inspiring societal progress.
Delivering his opening address, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, Founder and Director General of CNI, emphasized the need for community members to leave a legacy of impact.
He unveiled the organization’s upcoming initiatives, including food palliative distribution, a youth talent showcase titled Epe Got Talent, scholarships, and the much-anticipated Epe Fish Festival.
He also revealed plans for the Epe Division Hall of Fame to honor outstanding icons and legends from the region.
Although Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat were unable to attend, their goodwill messages were conveyed, emphasizing the critical role of collective responsibility in community building.
Mr. Rasaki Musa Gbolohun, in an exclusive interview, reminded nominees to take pride in their recognition, stating:
“For you to have been nominated is a big kudos. Do not relent because you didn’t win this year; rather, work harder and continue contributing to the community.”
Hon. Olabode Duke Gabadeen, CEO of Duke TV, also delivered a thought-provoking lecture, urging all awardees and nominees to remain committed to excellence.
“The reward of hard work is more work,” he noted, emphasizing the importance of consistent efforts in making a difference.

Mr. Adesanya Cosmos, recognized as Youth Influencer of the Year (Male)
Hon. Shittu Aliu Idowu, recognized as Education Support Personality of the Year
Mr. Yusuff Saheed Temitope, named Teacher of the Year
Giwa Omotomiwa Adeshola, honored as Youth Influencer of the Year (Female)
Merit Awards for Community Leadership and Impact were also conferred on the following distinguished individuals for their remarkable contributions to community development and societal progress:

As the event drew to a close, Mr. Olukoya urged all present to remain committed to societal development, emphasizing that “a life without impact is a life without value.”
