In a bid to support students and promote access to higher education, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun FHTI, has unveiled a new Educational Support Initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to deserving students in the community.
Ekohotblog gathers that the initiative is designed to ease financial burdens and ensure that indigenes and residents of Epe Local Government Area can pursue their academic dreams without limitations.

Speaking on the motivation behind the program, Hon. Animashaun emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future.
“Education is the key to progress, and as leaders, we must do everything possible to support our youth.
This initiative is part of our commitment to ensuring that no hardworking student is left behind due to financial constraints,” she said.
To qualify for the support scheme, applicants must be at least 16 years old, be an indigene or resident of Epe Local Government Area, and must have obtained a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in their SSCE/NECO/GCE results.
However, SS1 and SS2 students are not eligible for the program.
Applicants must also provide key documents, including their NIN slip, photocopies of SSCE/NECO/GCE results, passport photographs, and JAMB profile code.
Submission of documents will take place from Monday, 24th to Wednesday, 26th February 2025, at the Epe Local Government Secretariat between 10 am and 4 pm.
The sighting of original results is scheduled for Thursday, 28th February 2025, at the same venue by 10 am.
For many students, the initiative represents a beacon of hope. A prospective beneficiary shared,
