VIDEO: Wike Gifts Artistes At Burna Boy’s Homecoming Party N10m Each

Burna Boy bagged the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category at the 2021 Grammy Awards for his album, ‘Twice As Tall’.
Governor Wike, while speaking at the concert held on Saturday, commended the artistes who graced the concert, adding that he is proud of them.
However, in a video which has gone viral on social media, the crowd could be heard applauding the governor after his promise of rewarding the artistes who performed at the event as well as Burna Boy.
“Those of you who have come to play, whatever you have agreed with the ministry of culture and tourism is not my business.
“All of you that have come today and the Niger Delta people that have come to play today to show the talent you have, I’m very proud of you. All of you will go home with N10 million each,” the governor said.

It could not be ascertained how many artistes performed at the event but the governor was also said to have given the singer a plot of land to build for himself a home.
