Eko Hot Blog reports that President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday inaugurated a boulevard named after him in Niger Republic.

The boulevard, which former Niger President Issoufou Mahamadou initiated, was completed by current president, Mohamed Bazoum.
The boulevard boasts a length of 3.8km and is 160m wide.
In a series of tweets on Thursday evening, Buhari thanked the government of Niger Republic for the “great and enviable” honour.
Buhari also touted the friendly relationship between Nigeria and Niger Republic.
“I thank President @mohamedbazoum and the Government and people of the Republic of Niger for this great and enviable honour. I also thank former President @IssoufouMhm for initiating the project, which his successor has now completed and launched,” the Nigerian leader tweeted.
