President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved new leadership appointments in the River Basin Development Authorities under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the announcement was made on Friday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. The appointments are aimed at strengthening water resource management and rural development across the country.
At the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, Sowade Oluwakayode Adebayo has been appointed as Executive Director of Engineering Services, replacing Engr. Julius Oloro.
In the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, Chucks Erhire will take over as Executive Director of Engineering Services, succeeding Dr. Austin Nonyelim Izagbo.
For the Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority, Sunday Kubba Hassan has been named Executive Director of Planning, replacing Chief Chris Tarka, while Engr. Okibe Timothy will continue in his role as Executive Director of Engineering.
